FLAIR On Wednesday, May 18th, friends and supporters of Tail Wagger's gathered for an entertaining evening at Dearborn TGI Friday's for a first-time, FLAIR bartending fundraiser.
Friday's Bartender and supporter Eddie Tabb was responsible for putting this unique fundraiser together and is to be applauded (standing ovation!) for helping us raise over $1100 for our many programs!
With over 18 FLAIR participants – some coming from as far away as Utica – the crowd cheered with each and every move as liquor bottles were being tossed, flipped and even set on fire! Cocktails were made and then auctioned off – sometimes in a bidding war – to the patrons of Friday's. Eddie, himself, was the grand finale and after lining up multiple cocktail glasses, he carried over another bartender on his shoulders and the two of them together poured multiple drinks from “rock” glasses that were stacked inside one another....something you would have to see to believe!
Tail Wagger's was also excited to receive multiple bags of dog food, cat food, treats and supplies for their Pet Food Assistance Program – a much needed supply to help keep up with the demand of animals in need.
