Pet Cadet Hero - Isaak Cooke of Redford

Isaak Cooke of Redford is a true Pet Cadet! On January 9, 2009 Isaak found “Bonnie” a pitt bull puppy between two trash cans as he was walking his dog. Isaak’s dog, Max was sniffing around the trash cans and Isaak thought Max had smelled a cat. To his surprise, Bonnie was laying there, lifeless with injuries sustained to her right ear, stomach, and pads of her paws. Bonnie had been burned alive and apparently left for dead….Isaak took Bonnie home and his family sought medical attention.

Tail Wagger’s USA heard about the story and contacted the owner to see if financial assistance was needed. Due to the extensive burns to Bonnie’s ear, amputation was necessary and so will many follow-up visits. YOUR DONATIONS enabled us to give assistance so that Bonnie could be placed in her permanent home.
