19th Annual Tail Wagger's Bowl

9:30 a.m. Squad
These early morning risers were full of excitement when over 40 youth bowlers were “sworn in” to become official PET CADETS. Priding themselves by reciting the Tail Wagger’s Pet Cadet Creed, all the kids receive a personalized Pet Cadet membership card which illustrates their name and lists phone numbers to call in the event they see animal cruelty OR have questions about animal care. Donuts, juice and coffee were part of the festivities for the gang from ZF Corporation and many other supporters that enjoyed Glow-Bowl lights and music to really jump start their day!

The second squad of bowlers arrive full of zest and ready for a fun-filled afternoon. It's always a pleasure to welcome WNIC’s Breakfast Club morning show host Chris Edmonds to kick-off the afternoon. Chris Edmonds has been supporting Tail Wagger’s for the past 17 years and has become “one of the family” among some of the yearly participants. Supporter Madeline Apple and her crew of 40 bowlers have been coming out year after year and make the afternoon squad complete

Our most demanding and sold out squad tops off the excitement for the day. Our favorite feathered friends, the PARROT HEADS, led by fearless leader Geralyn Fernandez come out with over 25 bowlers and decorate their lanes appropriately with palm trees, beads and “Margariteville” stuff.

Vice Chairman, Linda Duff, Secretary Brandy Belcher along with Board Members Jill Engel and Lisa Trinka bring out over 100 bowlers to fill the majority of the lanes.

Everyone anticipates the FINAL Tote Board Roll of the day to see the GRAND TOTAL donated from all four squads....an amazing feeling to know that so many families and animals will benefit from YOUR generousity.
